Overview

  • Fiber optic collimators are used to couple light into and out of optical fibers.
  • Fiber optics collimators have a SMA905, FC/PC, or FC/APC terminated optical fiber at one end and a focusing lens assembly at the other end.
  • The focusing lens assembly collimate the laser light onto the fiber connected at the FC/SMA end optical fiber. 190 nm to 4.5 µm wavelength selectivity.
