Plano-Convex (PCX) Lenses

Convex lenses are optical lenses with a positive focal length. Plano-Convex (PCX) Lenses have one convex surface and the other flat. For maximum efficiency the second plane surface should face the desired focal plane.

Plano-Convex Lenses are ideal for light collimation or for focusing applications utilising monochromatic illumination in a range of industries including Scientific, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Robotics or Defence. Coated with antireflective coating lenses are used in Imaging, Lasers and Fibre Optics. Catalogue items list consist of most common diameter and focal length Uncoated Lenses made from N-BK7. Any catalogue lens can be coated with dielectric or metallic coating.
